Sunday Funday
I made up Wednesdays workout today. Felt good to go in on a weekend. There was only myself and 2 other crossfitters there with Derrick.
Snatch grip Dead Lift 5-5-5I did 55 pounds for 2 sets and tried 75 for the last set. I felt the form go with the weight so I'd keep it at 55 for a little while longer.
WOD15 Minute AMRAP6 Hang Squat Clean 115/7512 Pull Ups24 Box Jumps 20/14Jumping pull ups were subbed for pull ups and step ups were subbed for box jumps. I finished exactly 7 rounds.
Post WOD = 3 min plank holdI didn't see this till I just copied this from the site... so I guess I skipped it. oops :)
I'm so happy with crossfit still, I feel safe knowing that my injury is always being thought of by myself and the coaches. Scaling things back (for now) makes me feel like a cheater though. The Doc says in March I will be free to "go nuts" and I am nervous for that day, I feel like so many things are being scaled back for it, Its going to be one heck of a wake up call when box jumps actually have to be box jumps! YIKES!
